Description
The building is a house that was later converted into a post office, dating from the late 18th century. It features a timber frame set on a plastered brick sill, with a roughcast exterior, a slate roof, and a central red brick chimney. The house is asymmetrical and has two stories, facing west. On the south gable, there is a shop door and window that are accessible from the roadside. At the north end, there is a single-storey lean-to made of plaster and slate. The chimney is positioned a third of the way from the south end. The upper floor has two flush-box sash windows, each with eight panes. Below, there are similar windows with louvred shutters, along with a door to the left. The lean-to on the south gable has a separate door and window, finished to resemble ashlar, with a glazed door and small-paned windows on each floor. The building is included for its group value.
