Description

LEWANNICK SX 28 SE 2/32 Threshing barn on north side of yard at Trewanta Hall GV II Barn with shippons on ground floor and threshing floor above. 1846 (datestone) built for W.M.H. Stone rubble with granite dressings. Slate roof with hipped ends. Plan: Main range of overall rectangular plan with shallow wing to front left and to rear right. Probably shippons on ground floor with threshing floor above. Exterior: Two storeys. Asymmetrical front with shallow wing to front left. Shippon doors on ground floor, the granite lintels continued to form a continuous string band. First floor with datestone W M H to right of centre. 1846 and two wide loft doors with slate hoods. Weather vain on ridge to rear. Interior: Not inspected.
