Description

The threshing barn on the north side of the yard at Trewanta Hall is a Grade II listed building constructed in 1846, as indicated by a datestone. It features stone rubble walls with granite dressings and a slate roof with hipped ends. The barn has a rectangular main range with a shallow wing extending to the front left and another to the rear right. The ground floor likely contains shippons, while the threshing floor is situated above.

The exterior is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front with a shallow wing on the left. There are shippon doors on the ground floor, with granite lintels that create a continuous string band. The first floor displays the datestone "W M H 1846" to the right of centre and includes two wide loft doors with slate hoods. A weather vane is located on the ridge at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
