Description
This is a barn located 5 metres to the west of Tregreenwell Farmhouse, dating from around the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, with some areas rebuilt in concrete blocks, and features a rag slate roof. The barn has a gable end on the right and a cross wing to the left, along with a lean-to roof on an extension at the rear. The overall shape of the barn is 'L' shaped, with a single-storey structure and a two-storey cross wing on the left. The left gable end has been partially rebuilt using concrete blocks. There is an entrance near the centre, with openings on both the right and left sides. Inside, the barn has a roof structure from the 18th century, with principals that are halved, lapped, and pegged at the apices. This barn is part of a picturesque group of farm buildings behind Tregreenwell Farmhouse.
