Barn At Approximately 60 Metres South East Of Tregembo Farmhouse

This is a bank barn, built around the early 19th century, located approximately 60 metres southeast of Tregembo Farmhouse. The barn features painted rubble walls with some granite lintels and has a grouted scantle slate roof with gable ends. It has a rectangular plan and is built into the bank at the rear, with a first-floor doorway and two ground-floor doorways at the front.

The barn is two storeys high. The south front has a wide central doorway for wagons, a narrower doorway to the left that is partly blocked, and a small blocked window opening to the right. There are first-floor pitching and winnowing openings towards the left, with one now serving as a window, and a small ventilator above the main doorway that has also been converted into a window. The ground floor slopes down towards the main doorway.

This barn is an interesting example of its type and is part of a group of farm buildings that surround a rectangular farmyard related to Tregembo Farmhouse.
