ST AGNES BRITISH ROAD, SW 75 SW 4/133 Garden walls, earth-closets and - wash-house at rear of former 26.11.87 coastguards' cottage (formerly GV listed with 1,2 and 3 Coastguard II cottages)

Garden walls, earth closets and wash-house. 1893. Dressed killas and granite dressings. Dry Delabole slate hipped roof with gabled-ended cross wing of wash-house in the middle. Louvre over middle of wash-house, stone stack over rear gable. Plan: Long rectangular plan with cross wing of central wash-house projecting slightly at the front. Walls adjoining at right angles to either end. Exterior: Single storey. Unaltered elevations. Nearly symmetrical north-east front has projecting gable end of wash-house in the middle flanked by identical pairs of earth closets. Original windows and doors. Wash-house has 12-pane horned sash on its left and ledged door on its right. Each earth-closet front has 2 windows in the middle and a door at left and right. Interior not inspected.
