Stables Adjoining Roscarrock House On North

The stables adjoining Roscarrock House to the north were built around the mid-19th century. They are constructed from roughly squared stone ashlar with granite quoins and feature brick segmental arches for the ground floor openings. The roof is made of cement-washed rag slate with hipped ends. The building has a plan that includes a carriage house in the southeast range and stables in the rear wing to the north. It is two storeys tall. The southeast elevation has a wide segmental arch leading to the carriage house on the left and a two-light casement window on the right. The first floor features a blind window on the left and a two-light casement on the right. The northeast elevation of the rear wing has a stable opening on the left and two window openings on the right. All four elevations are unspoilt. This building is part of a picturesque group located in the farmyard to the north of Roscarrock House.
