6/185 The Chapel Garden walls at approx - 60 metres south of Penwarne House

GV II

Kitchen garden walls of Penwarne House qv. Circa late C18 or early C19. Killas rubble walls with scantle slate copings over the east wall. Plan: Rectangular plan garden with buttressed walls. There is an entrance to the middle of both the north and south walls. In the north west corner is a circa late C19 lean-to greenhouse. The doorways of the garden have granite lintels over. The greenhouse has granite rubble walls up to sill level. The glazing bars may be C20 replacements of the original ones.
