Description

The kitchen garden walls, located approximately 75 meters north and east of Killiow House, date from the 18th and 19th centuries. They are constructed of Flemish bond brick with brick copings and enclose a rectangular garden. The walls feature two old lean-to greenhouses at the north end of the west wall and a serpentine crinkle crankle wall on the east side, which is a rare example of this type in Cornwall and possibly unique in the county. The remaining walling is likely from the early 19th century and is buttressed at regular intervals.
