PADSTOW ST EDMUNDS LANE, Padstow SW 9075-9175 8/142 No. 8 (Puffin House) and garden wall on east

GV II

House and garden wall to east. Circa 1840s. Stuccoed and rendered with painted rag slates on north elevation. Slate roof with hipped ends. Rendered brick end and axial stacks. Plan: Front range on north has a 2-room plan with entrance in higher end on right, the ground sloping down steeply to the left (east). Further wing of at least 2-room plan to rear on south forming an overall double depth plan. Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 2-window north front with ground sloping down steeply to left. C19 sashes with intersecting glazing bars in 2-centred arched openings. 2 sashes on ground floor and one on first to right. Blind opening to left with 2- centred arch C20 doors in right hand side elevation. Interior: Not inspected. Garden wall continues to east from left hand side, stuccoed and rendered with 2- centred arched doorway.
