Description

This is a headstone commemorating Jonathan Darly, who passed away in 1786. It is located 20 metres to the north of the north aisle of the Church of St Torney. The headstone is made of slate and features a shouldered segmental arched top. It is inscribed with both upper and lower case lettering, which includes serifs and a verse, and is adorned with a carved angel's head.
