ST SAMPSON CHURCH HILL, Golant SX 15 NW 8/248 Miechel monument in the churchyard - about 3 metres south east of south porch of Church of St Sampson GV II

Headstone. C18. Slate. Nowy head, with incised pilasters to sides, which are continued as an incised border to the nowy head. Motto at the base: Remember Death. Primitive Gothic lettering, in the same style as the monuments to Rundall and Avery (q.v.) with heading "In Memory". To Mary Miechel, 1770.
