Description

Trevenson Conservative Club and School House is a building that originally served as a school with an attached master's house, now functioning as a club and private dwelling. It dates from the early to mid 19th century and has been altered over time. The structure is built from coursed squared sandstone, featuring granite quoins and dressings, and has a slate roof. It is designed in an H-plan and exhibits Tudor style elements.

The building is primarily a single storey, except for the right wing, which is two storeys but only slightly taller. The main range has three bays, with a Tudor-arched doorway leading to the School House on the right wing. It also features a six-light mullion-and-transom window flanked by cross windows, all adorned with diamond leaded glazing. The left wing has a similar but larger window with a lancet window above it. The right wing includes a weathered band and has two-light mullioned windows on each floor. There are side-wall chimneys, but the interior has not been inspected.
