Description

This is a lamp post located about 8 meters east of the Church of St James in Torpoint. It dates from the late 19th century and is made of cast iron, standing on a chamfered granite plinth that has two stages and a square shape. The lamp post features arms adorned with leaves and flowers, and the top includes an elongated hexagonal overthrow designed for the lamp. This lamp post serves as a central point for Elliot Square, enhancing the area around the church.
