Primrose Cottage And House Attached To Right

Primrose Cottage and the attached house to the right are a pair of homes built around 1840, with some later alterations. They are constructed from squared granite rubble and feature a slurried slate roof with gable ends and granite stacks at the gable ends. Each house has a layout with one room at the front and one at the rear, both heated by the gable end stacks, and they share paired central entrances. Primrose Cottage is located on the left, with the attached house on the right. The buildings are two storeys high and have three windows. The first floor features 16-pane sash windows with granite cills, while the ground floor has similar sash windows on the left and right, along with paired central doors. The door to Primrose Cottage on the left is a 20th-century half-glazed, six-panelled door, while the door to the right is also a six-panelled design. The left side has a wide external stack. The interior has not been inspected.
