Description
This guidepost, located approximately 400 metres to the south-west of Bravery, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of granite and has a triangular plan. The guidepost features upper case lettering with serifs on all three sides, providing directions to St Tudy, Bodmin, and Camelford. The original metal shaft, which had direction indicators, has been removed. The turnpike road act for roads leading to Bodmin was passed in 1769.
