Description
46 Godolphin Road is a suburban house built in the early 19th century, with a bay window added in the late 19th century. The front is made of rubble, which was previously covered in stucco, and features incised stucco end pilasters with a key pattern and anthemion design. The roof is made of asbestos slate, hipped at the front with projecting eaves. There is a shared brick chimney stack on the left and a rendered stack on the right. The house has a double-depth plan and is two storeys high with a two-window range. The original first-floor windows are 2-pane hornless sashes. On the left side, there is an original panelled door with shaped panels and an overlight, while on the right side, there is a late 19th-century canted bay window that has a moulded cornice, cast-iron cresting, and horned sashes. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
