Description
St Michael's House and the walls to the front are an 18th-century building located in Marazion. The front is made of granite ashlar, and it has a scantle slate roof that is behind a parapet, flanked by taller buildings on either side, with shared tall brick chimneys. The house has a double-depth plan featuring one room at the front and an entrance hall on the right, which likely leads to a stair hall.
The exterior is three storeys high with a regular one-window south front. It features wide, nearly central window openings and a round-headed doorway on the right. The building has a plinth, chamfered rusticated quoins, sill strings, and a cyma-moulded parapet cornice with a blocking course above. The 19th-century entrance includes a four-panel door, a single pane semi-circular fanlight, and horned sash windows with sidelights. The interior has not been inspected.
