Description
Kiwi Cottage is a house dating from the early to mid 19th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of rendered stone rubble and features a hipped concrete tiled roof, although the stacks have been removed. The building has a two-room plan with a central entrance, where each room would have originally been heated from an end stack.
The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical two-window front. On both the ground and first floors, there are 16-pane sash windows from the 19th century, accompanied by 20th-century external shutters. The central entrance features a four-panelled door from the 19th century. To the left side of the house, there is a small single-storey rendered addition with a 20th-century window at the front. The interior has not been inspected.
