Description
Rosedale is a house dating from the early to mid 19th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is built of rendered stone rubble and has a concrete tiled roof with gable ends. The house features gable end stacks with rendered shafts. The layout consists of a two-room plan with a central entrance, with each room heated by a gable end stack.
The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window front. On the first floor, there are 19th-century 16-pane sash windows on the right and left, and centrally, there are later 19th-century paired 8-pane sashes. The ground floor also has 19th-century 16-pane sash windows on the right and left, with a central 20th-century open-fronted porch that has 19th-century panelled inner double doors. The right side of the house is attached to the adjoining property, while the left side is blind. At the rear, there is a small single light window at ground floor level in the centre. The interior has not been inspected.
