Description

This is a headstone located 5 metres to the south of the nave of the Church of St Gregory. It dates from 1779 and commemorates Frances, the wife of Richard Burnard, who died in that year. The headstone is made of slate and features a segmental arched head with curved shoulders. The inscription is presented in upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
