Description

This is an early 19th-century rubble cottage terrace located on Back Road. It consists of twelve windows overall, arranged across Nos. 35 to 45 (odd). The windows are small sashes without glazing bars. External granite stairs provide access to the doorways located above ground level. The roof is slate, with gable ends. Lofts are situated at the rear, arranged around a small courtyard. On the north-east side, stone ramps and steps lead up to the loft doors. The buildings hold group value, forming an ensemble with Nos. 35 to 55 (odd) and the Old Bakehouse.
