Description

5 Fish Street is a cottage that likely dates from the 17th century. It is constructed from stone rubble and features a roof made of scantle slates that have been broomed with cement. The building has two storeys and an attic, with modern casement windows that include glazing bars. There is a hipped dormer and a hipped roof with a gable end facing the road. A large chimney stack is located at the front, although the upper stage is missing. This cottage is claimed to be the oldest house in St Ives.
