Description

Sloop Cottage is a 19th-century building located on Back Lane. It is three storeys high and has three windows across its front. The right end of the cottage is set back. The windows are sash style without glazing bars. The ground floor is made of stone and features a modern door with a plain rectangular fanlight above it. The cottage has overhanging eaves and a slate roof, which is large and accented with red ridge tiles. Sloop Cottage is part of a group that includes Nos 2, 3, and Slipway Cottage, along with the Sloop Inn on The Wharf.
