Description
This is a headstone dedicated to William Parsons, located 9 metres to the northeast of the lychgate of the Church of St Martin. It dates from 1795 and is made of slate, featuring a shouldered round head. The inscription is done in both upper and lower case lettering with serifs, and it includes a verse. The headstone is signed by the sculptor R. Wadge.
