Description

This is the headstone of William Parsons, located 90 metres southeast of the Church of St Materiana in Tintagel. It dates from 1802 and commemorates William Parsons, who passed away that year. The headstone is made of slate and has a rectangular shape, supported by a stone rubble pier at the back. It features inscriptions in both upper and lower case lettering with serifs, along with an angel's head design.
