Description

The Nancemellan gates and gateposts, located about 80 metres east of Nancemellan, are a pair of granite gateposts with painted wooden gates. The gates are asymmetrical, with the left pedestrian gate being smaller than the right. They feature curved top rails, diagonal braces, and stiles that have shaped finials in an Art Nouveau style. The uprights end in ogival finials and are fitted with strap hinges.
