This pair of gate posts, located immediately north of Small Hill Barton Farmhouse, dates from the late 17th century or 18th century. They are made of small granite monoliths with a square section, featuring ball finials that are cut from the same piece of granite. The gate, which is from the 19th century, is made of wrought iron and has shafts that are looped over the spearheads of the intermediate shafts, with the stiles bent over in a scroll-like manner.
