Description
Thatch Cottage and East and West Emmetts are three houses, likely originally built as one dwelling, dating to the 17th century and partly remodelled in the late 19th century. The upper section of the range is whitewashed, with rendered cob walls and a thatched roof with eyebrow eaves. The lower section is whitewashed with slate rubble walls and a slate roof. The building is a long, 6-window, 2-storey range with irregularly positioned casement windows, featuring slate sills at the upper end. The upper section includes one 2-light mullioned ground floor window. The front of the building, now occupied by East and West Emmetts, has been remodelled with new casements. A small front wall extends slightly from the upper end, incorporating a doorway to the right. A lean-to addition has been constructed against the wall of the upper end. The interior was not inspected.
