Description

Ludon Farmhouse is a building comprising a late 18th and early 19th century range with a 17th-century wing and 20th-century additions. The main range is rendered with a slate roof, and it is one room deep, featuring stacks at each end and an axial stack. A lower 17th-century wing projects from the south front at the west end, with a substantial stack at the south gable, defining the plan. A probably 19th or 20th-century addition is located at the west gable end of the main range, extending under a lean-to roof that creates a T-shaped plan. The south front of the main range presents a symmetrical facade with three windows on each floor. A central, decorative rustic porch enhances the appearance. The windows are 2-light casements with glazing bars. A 2-light casement, also with glazing bars, is present in the gable end of the 17th-century wing. The interior was not inspected.
