Description
The Symons chest tomb, located immediately to the north of the Pearse memorials, is an early 19th-century structure made of brick and slate. It is a low, coffin-shaped chest with an inscribed slate lid that resembles the nearby Pearse memorials. This half-size chest commemorates Tuomazin Stacey Symons, who died in 1838. It forms a group with the Pearse memorials.
