Description
The Richard and Ann Sargent headstone, dated 1795, is located about 6 metres west of the tower of the Church of St Paternus in South Petherwin. This headstone is made of slate and features a round head with small shoulders. The front of the headstone has an inscription carved in both upper and lower case letters, complete with serifs, and includes a verse below the inscription.
