Description

SOUTH PETHERWIN - SX38SW Trelinnoe Farmhouse 2/27 II Farmhouse: C17 or possibly earlier with later extensions and alterations. Rendered stone rubble. Hipped ragslate roof. Stone and slate hung rear lateral and gable end stacks. Probably a 3- room and through or cross-passage plan with added wings. 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 4-window north east front. Various C19 2,3 and 4-light casements mostly with glazing bars and C19 16-pane sash on first floor left. Doorway to left of centre with late C19 rendered gabled porch with 3-centred arch, keyblock and late C19 half-glazed door. At rear 2 gable-ended wing on right, the outer right gable slate hung, the inner (left) one with a corrugated iron outshut behind the main range; casement windows. Interior: not accessible at time of survey.
