Description

This is a milestone from around 1839, featuring a triangular shape set on a rectangular base with broach stops at the corners. It stands approximately 0.83 meters high and is painted white. The left side of the milestone is inscribed with the distances to Hayle (2 miles), Penzance (10 miles), and Land's End (20 miles), while the right side shows the distances to Camborne (4 miles), Redruth (7 miles), and Truro (16 miles). The inscriptions are highlighted in black paint, and the base of the stone is painted black.
