Description
The Viaduct at Angarrack is a railway viaduct built in 1888 for the Great Western Railway, spanning a deep valley that includes a road and a stream. Constructed from rockfaced granite with granite dressings, the viaduct features 11 spans supported by tapered rectangular piers. Above these piers are a series of 11 round arches, topped by a plain parapet that has small refuges over every alternate arch. The arch rings are made of granite ashlar.
