Description
The tombchest of Simon Wilcox, located 6 meters south of the south porch of the Church of St. Enodoc, dates from 1779. It commemorates Simon Wilcox, who died in 1779, his wife Jane, who died in 1766, and their daughter. The tombchest is made of stone rubble and has a rectangular shape topped with a slate lid. It features an inscription and verse in upper and lower case lettering with serifs.
