Description

Two tombchests, dated 1720 and 1723, are located 3 meters to the east of the north tower of the Church of St. Enodoc. They commemorate Richard Rounsevall, likely from Trewiston, who died in 1720, and Mary, the wife of John Ken, also probably from Trewiston, who died in 1723. The tombchests are made of stone rubble and are rectangular in shape, topped with slate lids. The lids feature inscriptions in a border, using upper and lower case letters with serifs.
