Description
There are two tombchests located 5 meters to the west of the tower of the Church of St. Menefreda. One tombchest commemorates Thomas Vercoe of Tregline, who died in 1768, and other family members. The chest is made of brick and is rectangular in shape, topped with a slate lid. The second tombchest is in memory of Susanna, the wife of Samuel Symons of Tregline, who died in 1780, along with other family members. This chest is also brick and rectangular, featuring a slate lid. Both lids are inscribed with serif lettering in upper and lower case.
