SX 36 NW CALLINGTON FROGWELL

7/32 Barn 10m to east of east Frogwell Farmhouse

GV II

Bank barn, comprising shippon with threshing floor above. Circa early to mid C19. Rubblestone with cut stone arches, granite quoins and corrugated sheet roof with hipped ends. 2 storeys, asymmetrical south front. Ground floor with 4 cut stone round arches to shippons with plank doors. Third arch partly blocked. Above double timber door to threshing floor with slate hipped hood above. Rectangular opening to left and small slit to right. Adjoining on left hand gable end, circa mid to late C19, 2 storey extension in rubblestone with corrugated roof with hipped end on left and gable on right. Brick segmented arches to 3 ground floor openings. Central plank low door with ventilation louvers in flanking openings. Opening above with brick segmental arch. Interior not inspected. Similar in design to barn to west (qv barn 12m to south of Frogwell Farm House).
