Description

A terrace of three houses located on Dutson Road, Launceston, dating to the early 19th century, with later 19th-century extensions on either side. The houses are constructed of coursed or brought-to-course rubble, with granite quoins and dressed stone, including segmental arches over the openings. They have hipped dry slate roofs with projecting eaves and rear lateral brick stacks. The buildings have a double-depth plan and an overall 7-window range. The original symmetrical 3-window front retains original 16-pane hornless sashes, except for a horned copy at the ground floor on the left. Flanking the original front are later 2-window fronts with original 4-pane horned sashes and doorways to their right. All the doorways have original 6-panel doors with diamond-patterned overlights. The interiors have not been inspected.
