Description

Langton House is an early 19th-century village house with an attached cottage, situated on the west side of Newport Square in Launceston. The house is rendered on rubble and has a rag-slate roof, with brick stacks. It follows a single-depth plan with a rear wing. The two-storey facade has an overall 4-window range, presenting a symmetrical 3-window front to the house and a 1-window front to the attached cottage. Original hornless sash windows with glazing bars are present throughout. The house has a panelled front door with overlight, while the cottage has a 20th-century glazed door and overlight located immediately left of a window. The interior has not been inspected.
