Description

Two tombchests located 28 meters northwest of the Church of St Merteriana, dating from 1785 and 1771. The tombchest of Robert Avery, son of John Avery, who died in 1785, and John Avery, who died in 1799, is made of slate-stone rubble and features a rectangular slate lid. The tombchest of Richard Wills, who died in 1771, and his sister Elizabeth, who died in 1790, is also constructed from slate-stone rubble with a rectangular slate lid. Both tombchests include verses in a nowy-headed panel decorated with angels' heads.
