Description

Holy well dedicated to St Merteriana, possibly a medieval site, located to the north of the Church of St Merteriana. It is a field spring that was overgrown at the time of the survey, with only a few remains of masonry visible. The 1955 provisional list describes a stone trough surrounded by stone slabs on three sides, although the stone roof has collapsed. The well is situated on a terrace north of the church.
