GV II

Churchyard monument. Circa 1860s or 1870s, possibly contemporary with the restoration of the Church of St Ida (qv) in 1870-71 by J.P. St Aubyn. Tall granite monument on a rusticated square granite plinth. Comprising a moulded column on a tall moulded base with broached corners; the column is crowned by the Prince of Wales feathers which appear more eroded than the rest of the monument and have possibly been reused.
