Description

This is a churchyard monument located 20 metres south of the Church of St Ida, dating from the 1860s or 1870s, likely built around the same time as the church's restoration by J.P. St Aubyn in 1870-71. The monument is made of tall granite and stands on a rusticated square granite plinth. It features a moulded column that sits on a tall moulded base with broached corners. At the top of the column are the Prince of Wales feathers, which appear more eroded than the rest of the monument and may have been reused.
