Description

The barn to the west of Broadmoor dates from the early to mid 19th century and is two storeys high. It features a half hipped roof covered with slurried slate. The exterior is constructed with thin shellat courses and random blue stone masonry. There is a large opening on the first floor, which is partially blocked, and four small ground floor doorways, all of which are also half-blocked. This barn is part of an 'L' shaped group of farm buildings located to the west of the house and is included in the listing for its group value.
