Description

This large barn, located to the north of Burrell House, dates from the mid-19th century. It is two storeys high on the south side and features thin shellat courses with random blue stones and granite quoins. The roof is half-hipped and covered with slate. On the ground floor, there are six arched and keyed openings, while the first floor has a segment-headed opening. A row of dove-holes can be found below the eaves. Due to the rise of the ground to the north, the barn includes ground-level loading bays for the upper floor.
