Description

Pinvintle Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse, altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It forms a small, picturesque group of farm buildings to the south of Trematon Hall. The oldest part of the farmhouse appears to be the south end, built of rubble, partly rendered, with a slurried slate hipped roof. It has one window to the south and one to the east, as well as a doorway. A mid-19th century three-window wing with a corrugated iron roof extends from the original section, and a lower, irregular section features a large chimney to the rear. Behind the mid-19th century wing is a break in the building line, presumably for stairs, indicated by much thicker masonry.
