Description

The barn, likely dating to the 1830s or 1840s, stands to the north of Trematon House. It is constructed of thin slate courses with random blue stones. The roof is half-hipped and slate-covered. A central first-floor entry is accessed by steps, which have a lean-to shelter. The ground floor has two doors. A lower extension projects to the east. On the south side of the barn are two windows, a central garage projection, and dove holes. A tall, single-storey wing extends to the south-west, featuring a hipped roof, three windows, and two doors with brick dressings. The barn is included in the listing primarily for its group value alongside Trematon House.
