Description

This barn, located to the north-west of Moor View Farmhouse, dates from the early to mid 19th century, although the southern part has origins in the 18th century. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a stone slate roof. The northern section has large entrances on both elevations, each with lintels, and includes ventilation holes. There is an outshut at the rear with a catslide roof. The southern part contains a small doorway from the early 18th century, which has a deep lintel and chamfered reveals. The roof is supported by 19th-century king post trusses.
