Description

The barns at Wivelscombe Manor date from the 18th century, possibly the 17th century, and are two storeys high. They are constructed of rubble and feature a half-hipped scantle slate roof. On the first floor, there are two double doorways, one of which has a hipped shelter hood. The ground floor includes four arched openings that are now glazed, along with double doors and a lower bay to the left. There is an 'L' plan single storey wing to the south that has brick arches to its windows. Additionally, there is a later extension to the north that includes steps leading to the upper floor.
