ALTARNUN SOUTH CARNE SX 28 SW 4/100 Barn 15 metres to south east of - Lower South Carne Farmhouse

GV II

Barn. Circa early to mid C19. Local stone rubble with roughly dressed granite lintels and quoins. Slate roof with gable ends. Plan: Overall rectangular plan with shippons on ground floor and loft above. Exterior: Two storeys. Symmetrical front elevations. Central double doors flanked by shippon doors to right and left. Central loft door on first floor with slate hood above. Ventilation slits in gable ends. Interior: Not inspected. Included for group value.
